2Nature of Our Services
Xtream-Masters is a software development company. We produce, license, and support software tools for licensed broadcasters, OTT operators, CAS providers, integrators, and security researchers worldwide. Every product we sell is an empty technical platform: a User must connect their own legally acquired sources, credentials, or content in order to make the Software useful for their lawful purposes.
3No Content — Software Only
We Do NOT Provide Content
Xtream-Masters does not own, host, store, transmit, broadcast, aggregate, index, redistribute, or sell any audio, video, streaming, television, film, or media content of any kind. Our Software ships empty. Any channel, playlist, URL, catalogue, DRM key, license token, or media file that may be processed by the Software is supplied, configured, and controlled solely by the end User or that User's own lawful suppliers. The User alone is the operator and content owner in the eyes of the law.
4License Grant
Subject to full payment of the applicable fees and continuous compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the purchased Software for your own lawful business or research purposes, strictly within the scope of the product edition, domain/IP count, duration, and usage limits stated at checkout or in your license certificate.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, rent, lease, relicense, white-label, or distribute the Software (in whole or in part) without our prior written consent. Each license key is tied to a single activation scope. Leaked, shared, or fraudulent license keys will be revoked without refund.
5User Eligibility
By purchasing or using the Software you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a binding contract.
- You are acting as a professional, business, broadcaster, CAS provider, integrator, developer, or licensed operator — not as a consumer hobbyist seeking to redistribute copyrighted content.
- You hold, or will hold, every licence, certification, authorisation, and regulatory approval required by your local jurisdiction and by the rights holders of any content you intend to handle.
- You will comply with all applicable laws — including copyright, broadcasting, telecoms, data-protection, export, and tax law — in the country where you operate and the countries of your end users.
6User Responsibilities
You are solely and exclusively responsible for:
- Selecting, acquiring, licensing, and paying for every item of Content that passes through the Software.
- Obtaining all necessary broadcasting, retransmission, public-performance, and distribution rights from the lawful owners of that Content.
- The legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of the Content and of the services you offer to your own end users.
- The security, back-up, and operational integrity of the servers, databases, and infrastructure on which you deploy the Software.
- Protecting your license keys, admin credentials, and end-user data against unauthorised access.
- Any tax, VAT, regulatory, or compliance obligation applicable to your own business.
7DRM Panel — Security Research & Testing Use Only
By using these tools you expressly represent and warrant that:
- You own, or are authorised in writing by the rights holder to test, the DRM-protected content against which you use the tool.
- You will not use the tool to decrypt, capture, redistribute, resell, or otherwise circumvent the DRM protection of any content you do not own or are not expressly authorised to test.
- You will comply with all applicable anti-circumvention laws (including the US DMCA §1201, EU Directive 2001/29/EC, the UK CDPA 1988, and equivalent legislation).
We actively cooperate with rights holders and industry-security consortia to ensure that properly deployed DRM cannot be bypassed by this software, and we reserve the right to revoke licenses, share evidence, and assist investigations where misuse is reported.
8Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Software, directly or indirectly, to:
- Transmit, stream, redistribute, or monetise any content you do not lawfully own or license.
- Infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, publicity, privacy, or other right.
- Circumvent, attack, or weaken any DRM, conditional-access, or content-protection system you are not authorised to test.
- Engage in piracy, fraud, phishing, malware distribution, or any criminal activity.
- Violate any export-control, sanctions, or telecommunications regulation.
- Interfere with the operation, security, or licensing mechanisms of the Software itself.
- Attempt to extract, repackage, rebrand, or resell the Software as a competing product.
Any breach of this clause is a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate, automatic, irrevocable termination of your license without refund, in addition to any legal remedy available to us and to any affected third party.
9Copyright & DMCA — Please Direct Notices to the Correct Party
10Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, its source code, its user interfaces, its brand assets, its trademarks, its documentation, and any derivative works are and remain the exclusive property of Xtream-Masters and its licensors. No rights are granted to you except the limited license expressly described in these Terms.
11Payments & Billing
Prices are displayed in Euro (or the currency stated at checkout) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, bank charges, or cryptocurrency conversion fees, which are your responsibility. Payments are processed by third-party providers including Stripe, PayPal, Coinbase, Cryptomus, Binance, and Skrill. Monthly-subscription products auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled by you at least 24 hours before renewal. All refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.
12Updates & Maintenance
We endeavour to release security patches, bug fixes, and feature updates during the active license term. We do not, however, guarantee that every update will remain backward compatible with third-party APIs, providers, codecs, or DRM stacks that are outside our control. Significant upstream changes (for example in third-party CDM or content-provider APIs) may require additional paid work or new license editions.
13Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance. You use the Software entirely at your own risk.
14Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Xtream-Masters, its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with the Software, the Services, or any Content processed through them, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to us for the specific product giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
15Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Xtream-Masters, its officers, employees, agents, licensors, and successors from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, damages, liabilities, fines, judgments, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use or misuse of the Software or Services.
- Any Content, stream, URL, playlist, key, or data you upload, connect, transmit, distribute, or make available through the Software.
- Any breach by you of these Terms, of any third-party right, or of any applicable law or regulation.
- Any copyright, broadcasting, telecoms, data-protection, or DRM-circumvention claim brought by any third party in respect of the deployment you operate.
16Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license immediately and without notice if (a) you breach these Terms, (b) you fail to pay an invoice when due, (c) your use creates legal or security risk for us or for any third party, or (d) a competent authority requires us to do so. Clauses 3, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 18, and 19 survive termination.
17Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) acts of God, war, civil unrest, labour disputes, governmental action, changes in law, major internet or infrastructure outages, cyber-attacks, DDoS, pandemic, or force-majeure events affecting our upstream providers.
18Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Xtream-Masters is legally registered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. The parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that same jurisdiction.
19Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms at any time by posting a new version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Software after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
